DIGITAL ART CREATIONS 2007 - PRESENT
With a background in digital operations and systems since 1998, I started manipulating my photography using Adobe software in 2007 easily. By the end of that year, I was fully obsessed with Photoshop. Nearly two decades later, as media and tech evolve, it’s nearly impossible to create or edit anything without running into machine learning and neural networks.
Twenty years ago, digital cameras weren’t widely respected in the art world, and Photoshop wasn’t seen as a valid art form. Today, with new media saturating every platform, staying original is more challenging than ever. I strongly recommend reverse image searching your work—it’s the best way to protect your vision and check if someone’s copied it. When investing in artwork, I highly recommend doing the same—what you uncover might surprise you.
As a self-taught visionary artist, I create from instinct, experience, and obsession. I thrive on making work that can’t be replicated—art that stands apart. — Nichole Montgomery
